Our matcha is certified organic under the strict EU and JAS standards. Every batch is tested for pesticides, heavy metals, and radiation to ensure purity and safety.

We use organic, first harvest (ichibancha) leaves, traditionally shade-grown and carefully stone-milled in Japan. This is the same kind of matcha used in tea ceremonies, often described as ceremonial grade.

While “ceremonial grade” isn’t an official classification in Japan, it’s widely understood to refer to matcha that’s crafted to be enjoyed on its own, simply whisked with water. Our blend is refined by experienced tea masters who specialize in organic cultivation, a process that demands precision and care due to the delicate nature of untreated leaves.

Our matcha comes straight from Japan, where we work closely with organic tea farms rooted in centuries of tradition. One of our key sourcing regions is Uji, long regarded as the birthplace of Japanese matcha. The area is known for its ideal climate, mineral-rich soil, and craftsmanship passed down through generations.

Each batch is freshly ground and shipped directly to our warehouse in Europe, so the matcha arrives fresh and true to its origin.
