  • 115g butter
  • 120g sugar
  • 120g flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 6g matcha powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 15ml milk

How to:

  1. Melt butter over medium low heat
  2. Mix sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and sift matcha
  3. In separate bowl whisk together 2 eggs and milk until frothy
  4. Add liquids into dry mixture and combine
  5. Slowly add melted butter
  6. Refrigerate for 3 hours
  7. Preheat oven to 190°C
  8. Brush madeleine molds with a bit of butter and fill with batter
  9. Bake for 11-13 minutes and let cool before removing from the mold
